Bodega los Aljibes, is situated in Chinchilla de Monte Aragón (ALBACETE), Spain, within the boundaries of the “Los Aljibes” estate. A winery focused on creating high quality wine, it is a modern and functional winery using the latest technology, within an architecturally rich setting.
The selection of the grapes is undertaken three times. Firstly in the fields, starting before the ripening of the grapes and finishing at the time of picking, when only the best quality bunches enter the winery. Once the grapes arrive in the winery they pass to the selection table where manual selection takes place. Thereafter, the grapes are again sorted and only the premium quality fruits pass to fermentation.
For Aljibes, we select the grapes from our oldest Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines and blend them to create a classic wine, but with all the strength of the Finca Los Aljibes vineyards. A very high depth, intensely coloured wine, very clean and bright. Its aromatic strength stands out on the nose, the wood being well blended with the fruit and spices. The flavours of its mature tannins on the palate make it a full-bodied, elegant wine with a long finish. (Serving temperature: 16º-17º C)
The Rosado is a clean and brilliant wine with bluish and violet hues. Red fruits are highlighted on the nose, with a touch of mineral and sweet raspberry, becoming more noticeable on the palate. Its acidity, smoothness and energy make it an ideal wine for aperitifs, desserts and rice dishes. (Serving temperature: 10º C-12º C) |
